Today I searched up complaints about trash on beaches, and what I forgot, was the public dog beach in Key Biscayne! Since this beach is public, not private, and it doesn't stretch that much through Key Biscayne or Miami, it really isn't cleaned up! So I found a site bringfido.com and visitors of this dog beach were complaining of stepping on glass, plastic, and too much left over trash, and chicken bones on the sand. This is super dangerous for dogs because they can suffocate over swallowing a plastic cap, or stepping on a piece of glass. This is also for humans. But the worst part is that the dogs may like the smell of the chicken bones, and they eat it, and they choke, or it doesn't digest properly, and the dog dies (most likely) and also, the waves of the beach over time was away the plastic, chicken bones, and glass, as fish, manatees, sharks, dolphins find these shiny materials as tiny marine animals to eat, and eventually they die. This is a big reason of why the marine animal population was dropped down by a lot. Some are on the verge of death!!!
I have had personal experience with this trash. I also took my dog to this beach with my family, only to find plastic bags, beer bottles, plastic caps, and broken pieces of sand along with raw meat, and warnings of not to go inside the water, unless I wanted to be injured by the jagged pieces of glass and plastic! I have a question... Is this what the beach has begun?
